Hypothesis Test Based on Re-Sampling for Meta-Analysis of Gene Expression Profiling Studies Application

Objective To introduction the hypothesis test of expression profiling studies meta-analysis based on re-sampling method and the application with SAS. Method A real example of gene expression profiling studies was used to demonstrate the usage and procedure of the hypothesis test of meta-analysis based on re-sampling method. Results Genes were identified in different studies with consistently reported. Conclusion The hypothesis test of expression profiling meta-analysis based on re-sampling method can apply in the effect size with no specific distribution such as the meta-analysis of gene expression profiling studies to identify candidate biomarkers and thus can be applied in other field.
